One serving contains 0.8g of your daily requirement of 1.5-2.4g of plant stanols

Ingredients:

  • - 25g Benecol® Buttery Taste Spread
  • - 2 spring onions, finely chopped
  • - 75g cooked and shelled prawns, roughly chopped
  • - 110g crabsticks, shredded
  • - 110g butterbeans, drained and roughly mashed
  • - 1 tbsp chopped dill
  • - 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • - finely grated zest and juice half lemon
     

To serve

Wholemeal pittas, toasted

Method:

  1. Melt the Benecol® Buttery Spread in a large pan.  Stir in the remaining ingredients, cool and then chill for at least 30 minutes before serving with the toasted pitta breads.
     

Tips

  • Also works well using 185g skinned smoked mackerel in place of the prawns and crab sticks.
  • Cover and store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
