|1 tablespoon sugar|
|50 ml water|
|1 teaspoon ground ginger|
|½ vanilla pod|

Stewed ginger apples
A great classic, fresh and smooth. You may overindulge in this one!
One serving contains 0.8g of your daily requirement of 1.5-3g of plant stanols.
- Peel and slice the apples. Place the apples in a saucepan, add the sugar and water, cover and bring to a boil.
- Add the ground ginger and the vanilla pod. Simmer and stir for a few minutes until the apples are tender. Remove from heat. Blend to the desired consistency.
- Let cool and serve lukewarm or cold in a bowl, accompanied by a BENECOL® Light Yogurt Drink
