|110g (4oz) self-rising flour|
|2 x 67.5g Benecol® Peach and Apricot Yogurt Drinks|
|2 tsp caster sugar or Low Calorie Sugar Alternative|
|110g (4oz) pineapple chunks, drained if canned|
|25g (1oz) Benecol® Buttery Taste Spread for spreading|
|4 tsp runny honey|
This fruity mixture is the sweetest of breakfasts
One serving contains 1.4g of your daily requirement of 1.5-3g of plant stanol
- Sift the flour into a large bowl and make a well in the middle. Add the egg and stirring slowly draw the flour into the middle to make a thick batter. When the mixture is too thick to stir, add the Benecol® Yogurt Drinks and continue stirring to make a thick batter. Add the sugar or SPLENDA® and pineapple chunks.
- Heat a large non-stick frying pan, add a knob of the Benecol® Buttery Taste Spread and swirl to coat the pan. Using a tablespoon measure, add spoonful's to the pan. Cook for 1-2 minutes until bubbles begin to appear on the surface of the pancakes, then flip to cook the other side for a minute until golden. Slide from the pan and keep warm whilst making the remainder.
- Serve warm, spread with Benecol® Buttery Taste Spread and a drizzle of honey.
